I joined TTV in 2025 after being a tenant of North Star for 2 years. I received an email from North Star about what seemed like an opportunity to try to improve some things not only in my community but for the broader community too.
I wanted to help try to improve services for the elderly and more vulnerable tenants.
I attended my first meeting not knowing what to expect, but found it to be something I was very passionate about.
I also began to attend other Your Voice meetings to broaden my knowledge and see if there were any areas I could help improve.
In my spare time, when I am not attending meetings, I enjoy building Lego, which I have a large number of sets of, spending time with my family and pets, and, like the nerd in me, I like to stick my brain in crosswords and puzzles. I find this helps keep my brain active, and I enjoy the challenge too.
