Board Trainee

I began my career in social housing working on empty properties and, through commitment and progression, I now serve as Estate Services Area Lead at Thirteen Group. In this role, I lead a dedicated and diverse team – including arborists and grounds maintenance colleagues – focused on creating safe, well-maintained environments that residents can be proud of.

As a qualified Level 3 Mental Health First Aider, I strongly believe in the importance of supporting people’s wellbeing. I’m committed to enabling colleagues to thrive and to ensuring that customer voices are central to the work we do. I’m also a proud member of POW (Power of Women) and passionate about inspiring young people, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, to consider careers in housing.

Social housing has had a lasting impact on my life, and I’m driven by a desire to contribute meaningfully to the sector. I’m honoured to join North Star as a Board Trainee and look forward to supporting its continued commitment to strong communities and high-quality homes.
