How to get started

Registering with North Star Online is quick and easy.

You'll need your Tenancy Reference Number to register. We'll send you this via text or you can find it on your rent statement letters. If you need help finding it, get in touch with Customer Services.

Here's how to register step-by-step:

  1. Open North Star Online on your computer or smartphone
  2. Click 'Register'
  3. Enter your details as instructed. You'll be asked for your Tenancy Reference Number, Last Name, Date of Birth and Post Code
  4. Click continue
  5. Enter your email address and choose a password that you'll use to sign in
  6. Click continue
  7. Read the information about how we'll use your data and tick to give consent if you're happy with it
  8. Click continue

You'll then be registered! When you log in, you'll be shown any important messages first. You can then continue to use North Star Online however you'd like.

 

 

Your questions answered

I am still having trouble getting set up. Can I speak to someone?

Absolutely! You can call Customer Services on 03000 11 00 11 if you're struggling to get set up.

I've forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

If you're signed in in the phone app: Click the three lines to open the menu. Click 'Change Password'. Enter what you would like to change your password to as instructed. Click submit.

If you're signed in on your desktop: Click 'Change Password'. Enter what you would like to change your password to as instructed. Click submit.

If you're not signed in: On the sign in page, click 'Forgotten my Details' and enter your email address. We'll then send you an email with a link to reset your password.

How do I update my personal details?

To update your details:

  1. Go to 'Your tenancy'
  2. Click 'Update this person' underneath your name.
  3. Add or edit your phone number(s) and email address as necessary.
  4. Click 'Submit'

Where is my tenancy reference number?

You'll find it in a text we have sent you or your rent statement.

You can also get in touch with us and the Customer Services team can let you know what it is.

Can I translate North Star Online into my preferred language?

You can use your browser's translation settings to translate North Star Online on your desktop computer. 

Can I use North Star Online to let you know about changes to who is living in my home?

Yes -

  1. Go to 'Your tenancy'
  2. Click 'Update tenancy details'
  3. Select what you'd like to change from the drop-down menu and enter the new details as instructed.
