Applying for Universal Credit

If you are unsure if you are receiving all the financial support you are entitled to or are struggling to meet your costs, you can chat to our Welfare Benefits Team and they may be able to help. Please contact them on: welfare.benefits@northstarhg.co.uk
Your Housing Officer
If you would like to speak to your Housing Officer and don’t have their contact details, please contact: housingteam@northstarhg.co.uk quoting the first line of your address and they will contact you as soon as possible.
Energy Suppliers
At the beginning of your tenancy it’s important to quickly set up your energy suppliers. To do this you must make contact with the existing energy supplier and transfer the account into your name. You will need to take your meter readings and provide these to the supplier. If your home has a prepay meter, there will need to be some credit on the meters.

Please contact customer services on 03000 11 00 11 if your gas supply has been capped and you require this to be uncapped.
Online Services
You can manage your tenancy online by registering with My North Star – www.mynorthstar.online. You can pay rent, update your details and request repairs. To sign up you will need your tenancy reference number. If you do not have this, please contact customer services on 03000 11 00 11
