In aid of Dementia Action Week, the Housing Team arranged a super afternoon ‘Strawberry Tea’ for residents.  Strawberries and cream, and cream scones were kindly donated by Aspens Bistro Staff, and some memorabilia from days gone by was kindly provided by Stockton Library from their Reminiscence collection.

Residents enjoyed being together after what has been a long and at times challenging 14 months. The noise and chatter was contagious. As you can see from some of the lovey pictures, everyone who attended really enjoyed it and they are already looking forward to finding out what the next event will be.

One of our lovely Residents, Anne, kindly made the bunting today. The theme was to wear “Denim for Dementia’’.  Residents and Staff took part, donating money for Teesside Dementia Link Services who provide invaluable support services for local People living with Dementia and their Carers.

Tenants said it was lovely to get together with everyone after such a long time and that they were looking forward to Coffee Mornings starting up again soon (in small groups of 6) A fantastic start for the re-opening of our lovely communal lounge at Aspen Gardens!
