We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our tenant, Carol Pearson, has been nominated and shortlisted in the ‘Tenant Champion’ category of the 24 Housing Awards 2018!

We know that this is a challenging yet exciting and rewarding time to work in the housing industry, and we couldn’t do a lot of the work we do without the input and assistance of tenants like Carol. For this reason, we nominated her for this prestigious award in this year’s competition.

These awards recognise individuals who have contributed something special to their organisation and the housing landscape. Carol is an extremely well-deserving Tenant Champion – she ensures her voice is heard in tenant meetings but also listens to and values the contribution of her fellow tenants. Her contribution to the work North Star does definitely deserve to be recognised and the 24 Housing Awards 2018 is the perfect opportunity to do just that!

It’s not long now until the final judging day in September and the Awards Ceremony on 18^th October 2018 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. We can’t wait to hear how Carol has done, but whatever the outcome, she’ll be a Tenant Champion in our eyes.
