A regeneration scheme in Norton is providing first-class affordable housing for over 55s.

The £1.2million scheme on Somerset Road has seen 11 two-bedroom bungalows built, including one which is fully wheelchair accessible.

Each home has been fitted with high quality, modern kitchen and bathroom suites as well as a rear garden.

The bungalows are available to rent through social landlord, North Star housing group.

The scheme has been led by North Star who have worked closely with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and Gus Robinson Developments to deliver this high quality development, and has received financial support from Homes England.
