We’re delighted to launch an innovative employment initiative in Hartlepool in partnership with the Foundation of Light, the registered charity of Sunderland AFC.
The project, called Back in the Game, is designed to increase motivation and self-esteem through exercise and employability support. The project is delivered across the North East and has helped more than one in three learners find a job, during or within six weeks of finishing the course, with local businesses.
Back in the Game was awarded the National Project of the Year prize as part of Adult Learners Week for its remarkable achievements in 2015.
The programme is free and open to anyone who is looking for work or even a career change. It is being delivered from the Belle Vue Sports and Community Centre on Kendal Road, Hartlepool from 22nd January.
